On The Day

The Huddersfield Pink Picnic 2012 will be held in Greenhead Park and run from 12 noon till 7pm on Sunday 22nd July 2012.
The Huddersfield Pink Picnic costs thousands of pounds each year to stage yet is the largest free Pride festival in Yorkshire. To keep it that way we need donations or a voluntary contribution of £4 on the day, so please give generously as you pass through the gate.
This year’s attractions include:
- THE MAIN STAGE WITH LIVE ACTS AND DJS
- PRIDE ART ACTIVITY AND EXHIBITION
- INFORMATION STALLS
- MARKET STALLS
- BEER TENT
- FOOD STALLS
- FUN FAIR
After two fantastic years at Moor End Farm, South Crosland we are hoping for another fantastic day which this year in our new home at Greeenhead Park , Huddersfield and it will be our 25th Huddersfield Pink Picnic.
The following info should help you get the best out of your day:
Plan for the weather, drinking water is a must and sun cream or a rain coat.
If you plan to picnic and relax on the field you will need your own seating or blanket.
*IMPORTANT NOTE*
To keep in line with the licensing conditions of The Pink Picnic and other similar events you cannot bring your own alcohol to the Pink Picnic.
Strictly no barbecues or fires.
Please, please bag up your rubbish and dispose of it sensibly, volunteers have to make the field spotless again afterwards ready for the farm’s use.
